Jack In The Box - La Jolla

Wanted to try the spicy chicken strips today and I must say that's the worst piece of processed chicken I ever had. Now I am nauseous too, the best part of the meal was the spicy sauce and fries ????The customer service was great as well but thatchicken was awful ???? never again....The only reason why I'm not giving 1 star is because of the customer service.

I just don?t understand why this restaurant cannot read and follow orders from Uber Eats. This is the second time tried to give them a second chance. Never again, I threw my food in the trash. Now that I?m reading the recent reviews I guess I shouldhave known better. This restaurant has a recent history of bad food.

The drive-thru can get quite busy, but it usually flows well. There are often unhoused individuals in the area, so be mindful if you're walking. If you're coming by car, be prepared for some confusion; cars need to leave space in the line to access the gas station next door.

I understand that there are times when restaurants can be short-staffed, but having a negative attitude or outright ignoring customers is unacceptable. I was left on hold for 10 minutes in the drive-thru before I could place my order. When my order was finally ready, it was incorrect, and the staff member didn't provide any sauces, napkins, or even my receipt, despite my request. He simply closed the small window on me. Overall, I left feeling very disappointed.

I’m really frustrated with this Jack in the Box. I’ve lived nearby for the past two years, and more often than not, my order is incorrect—whether it's missing ingredients or items entirely. Today was the last straw. I ordered a simple chicken sandwich with extra tomatoes, onions, and cheese, but instead, I received a plain sandwich with just lettuce. I think it’s time for me to find a different place for a quick bite.
