Dominic's Table - La Jolla

Booked a table for 5, but when we arrived there it was totally dark and closed. there were no wise why, or anything that suggested there was a planned closure.

We had an obvious very NEW server that did not know the menu, forgot my eating, commanded to enter wrong.

Waiter was personable and the Chef enssured the food was fresh and great.

Arrived to extremely loud music and children running around the restaurant. I asked host if he could turn the volume down and he did. It made for a much more enjoyable evening. I wish restauranteurs would realize that we diners do not enjoy loud vocals while we are dining. A low volume Jazz instrumental is sophisticated and appealing. Also, get rid of "sports T.V!!!!!!! It 's so tedious.

The food was excellent and the Happy Hour was not crowded at all on a Tuesday. I'm eager to try their breakfast menu. Will definitely go back!
