Bidrage med feedbackFood was amazing! Our waitress was amazing! Look was beautiful! Everything was just amazing!!! My husband and I really enjoyed it. I wanted to get my husband out for a nice dinner and this place wasn't disappointed. The service was at the point and we loved only the view and able to see the sea lions play in the water below while we ate. Our waitress Cierra was absolutely wonderful! She often checked us, but not too often and she was super sweet and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place and would definitely go back.
Great view from outdoor decks. La jolla cove is down and another look is the whole way to the coast almost to Orange County on a clear day! Fish tacos with chips is a great way to enjoy this place. Also many surfboards in the entrance to show the old style of early surfing. Parking is located next to the entrance. Worth a visit!
Duke's in La Jolla was a wonderful experience! The sea view with Torrey Pines in the distance is beautiful! We enjoyed swimming people and paddling canoes. The food was excellent! The most delicious Hawaiian food I've ever tasted. The drinks where very well processed. The serving size for a few drinks was scary. That said we had two. If we can go back to sunset dinner
Delicious food with a fantastic view! Dinner was so good and the heaters made it very comfortable outside. The waiter was so friendly and personal, and was super helpful in answering questions about the meal, and I would definitely recommend going here. It was so good that we went to breakfast the next day!
Made a last minute decision to come here due to our first choice being closed, and so glad we did! You do need a reservation, but you can snag limited seating in the bar area. You still get the nice Hawaiian vibe inside, with a nice view of the ocean. But for optimal experience, getting a seat on the patio would be best. Food and drinks are expensive. Loved the Macadamia encrusted fish, and calamari for the appetizer. My daughter didn’t really care for her kids plate of Mac and cheese. And she is totally not picky about her Mac, but for some reason she didn’t like this one. The IPA from Maui brewing co was good but not worth the 8 dollar price tag in such a small glass. Service was great, and everything was clean. Atmosphere was sort of swanky and laid back at the same time. People came here dressed up and some casual. Just like in Hawaii. Definitely will be back, but with a reservation on the patio.
