X Ranch - La Grange

We booked the evening boat trip for dinner and I highly recommend this group! They did an amazing job. I thoroughly enjoyed the steak dinner outside by the Snake River with the rafts waiting to go. The guide for the trip was very knowledgeable and made it incredibly fun. Great job, Triangle X personnel!

Our family of 7 (2 adults, 5 children ages 15, 13, 11, 9, and 9) stayed at the ranch for a week in July 2021 and we absolutely loved it. The cabin was wonderfully rustic yet very comfortable. Our unit had two bathrooms, which was a nice touch. The veranda had a beautiful view of the mountains. They served breakfast, lunch, and dinner with traditional ranch fare such as eggs, sausages, bacon, biscuits and gravy for breakfast and delicious options like sandwiches, spaghetti, and salmon for dinner. The horseback riding was excellent with energetic and well-trained horses that catered to riders of all experience levels. The trails were spectacular and offered a variety of ride options from slow and easy to fast and thrilling. The children and youth programs were also fantastic, keeping our kids engaged and entertained throughout our stay. They even had a touch football game in the evenings that the kids absolutely loved. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the ranch and would highly recommend it, especially for families with children.

We had an amazing Snake River float ride with Matt! The views were stunning, the atmosphere was lively and fun, and the entire process was seamless. Unlike some rafting trips that have strict requirements for clothing and gear, this experience was incredibly easy - we just hopped on the raft and didn't even get wet. Matt's enthusiasm was infectious, making the trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

We were a party of 8, total 12 plus guide fit on a raft. we got a place to meet, followed by a short van ride to our dinner. we were offered steak, huh, salat, kartoffel and biscuits. grilled on the ground. they also offered water for drinks. the food was good. then we were brought into our raft by our guide nick. it was about a 3 hours of dizziness, with a lot of time for photos while on the river. we were not wet and enjoyed our little way, many views of the grand tetons, unfortunately the smoke made the mountain in silhouettes. trip was great, would recommend.

We attended a business retreat in Jackson Hole and were treated to a Snake River float trip with Triangle X ranch. What a fantastic experience; great transportation, safety conscious, and friendly. We were fortunate enough to have Capt. Matt as our guide and oarsman. What a font of information, history, and fun! The ride is fairly calm, no white water. Nice to have ponchos for the occasional brief rain. A beautiful 90 minute float with spectacular views of the Teton Mountains and many opportunities for wildlife viewing, moose, prong horn, geese, merganser ducks, bald eagles, otters, beaver and more. Matt knows so much about the history not only of the vast area and the National park formation, but also the indigenous tribes of the area and more. We plan to come back for a 4 day pack trip.
