Famous Dave's -b-que - La Crosse

Stopped off of 90 for lunch and smelled the smoke! Needed immediate brisket satisfaction or else. The navigator parked the RV as I went in to order. Take out no call ahead and it took about 12 minutes. Not bad. The burnt ends appetizer was good, the onions they gave with it weren’t so crispy or my choice anyways so not harm there. The Sassy BBQ salad raised the moral of the navigator while the might mini passengers smashed the ribs and corn dogs. I had the brisket sandwich and thought it was good. Nothing crazy or overwhelming but good. The pickles were the most unique flavor I’ve had. They had an after taste of coleslaw and I liked it, but wasn’t ready for it. No disappointments here and you can expect what you would from any Famous Dave’s. That smoke!!!!

The food service has been great for me. I highly recommend going there for some good BBQ!

We ordered the Thanksgiving Feast for our family. The Turkey was smoked to perfection and there was enough sides for left overs! They made it so easy for us!!

Went there for Veterans day lunch. Food was good. Service was good. This was about the 4th time I've been there and each time it has been great. I should go more often.

Great food. excellent service! our server andrea was the best. political, fast and attentive. we mentioned in the city for uwl orientation and a long trip to the house. after a delicious meal we ordered to go brotpudding. andrea filled the ice on ice, separated the chocolate sauce and left us with warming. it was completely unexpected and very appreciated. I am happy to say everything, even the ice, survived the three hours drive. thank you again andrea!
