Renaud's Bakery - La Cañada Flintridge

First, it was not advertised as within Gelsons. Now I'm not sure if the bakery owner is a small business or if he's under the supermarket, but the pastries leave much to wish. The Macarons tasted like they were sitting in a great refrigerator and the Tarts too! The chocolate tasted neither fresh nor the pastries! Also I went a few hours before the end of dinner time, and he was already closed and light turned off! I asked for a cup of ice, and he didn't even have the trouble to round it off, that's after spending $10 on 2 Macarons and 1 Tart! I'm not sure if I would recommend it could try again, maybe now. I'm not sure.

So it's in the Gelsons. It wasn't so obvious. So the Ambinece was 1 out of 5. The service was good, 4 out of 5. I ordered a oat milk loaf and a croissant. The croissant was served cold and was not the best. The latte was okay. I don't understand the 5 star reviews, that's Mediocre best.

I brought her chocolate cake for my birthday and everyone asked me about the place. I also get her chocolate and almond croissant, it was so delicious that I could only drive to buy it. Your Macaroons are also so delicious.

The pastry and terrace series was always a good quality, but I cannot recommend the coffee at all! I ordered a large café Latte and basically got a cup of boiling hot milk. Zero milk foam (because too hot) and only traces of coffee in it. But the most shocking: when I brought back the cup of hot milk and complained about it, they would not even give me my money back, but just give me a card with a phone number! Very disappointing coffee and a complete lack of customer service!

The best Galette des rois in the neighborhood. Their patisserie are exquisite delicious and reminds me of some fine bakery in France. I highly recommend
