Talk great English and very fast service. Very recommended if you want to try wagyu beef, but do not want to spend your savings.
Amazing Japanese Cobe /Wagyu experience. The small interior provides a wonderful atmosphere and complements beef dishes. Especially the cattle carpachio was excellent. The waiting staff we are very friendly, and despite the haste we arrived, they could provide us wonderfully. Overall, the ambience, music, food and wine gave a wonderful experience!
A small, cosy steak bar tucked in Pontocho Alley in Kyoto with amazing amazing steak at, in my opinion, really affordable prices. Each portion of steak ranges from 980yen to 2480yen for non-kobe wagyu while Kobe steak here costs 12000-19000yen per portion. We went for the cheaper cuts and they were already absolutely fantastic. We also had the steam shrimp with octopus and fried shrimp and both were superb as well. There is a mandatory 250yen per pax cover charge but in return they will serve you a plate of wagyu beef prosciutto which was not bad. Free wine (one glass per pax) if you spend >2000yen and you get a 10% discount if you post a review on Tripadvisor or Google Map. Nonetheless this place is worth every bit of the 4.7 stars rating.
We had the Chateaubriand and the Filet, both excellent! The courts were also tasty. Nice place with very nice staff and a great playlist. Not cheap, but definitely worth the money!
Great place to eat and drink with friends, excellent value for drinks. The place is small but cozy and has a great atmosphere and friendly English speaking staff. The quality of steaks is excellent, which is expected for Wagyu beef. Also highly recommend the aged chicken carage (so juicy and tender!
