Owner/chef Ernesto is very warm, welcoming, and generous with his time. A very authentic Italian experience from the hospitality to the food, which is delicious. The menu has some special stuff that you don't often see in Japan like pinsas (like pizza, but lighter). Top-notch lunch specials for only 1000 yen. In a very convenient area near many museums/shrines.

Delicious and authentic Italian food in Kyoto! The Caprese salad, Margarita pizza, and Kyoto Garden pizza were amazing. The bread for both pizzas were so good.

We were in Japan for the Rugby World Cup. A brief visit to Kyoto and we were looking for an alternative to local cuisine, for something different. We were recommended this restaurant and were so glad we went there. Ernesto and his Sous Chef cooked up an amazing Italian meal for us. The flavours were fresh and delicious. The wines, recommended by Ernesto, were a great accompaniment. If you are looking for a great meal experience in an intimate, quiet setting, I can really recommend this spot.

Japanese ambience paired with authentic Itailian food, this restaurant is a delight to the palate. From the focaccia paired with rich olive oli and olive tapenade, to the fresh caesar salad and homemade pizza you can't go wrong here it's an oasis when craving Europen food and it's wonderfully authentic. Thank you Ernesto for suggesting the perfect red wine and lemon cello.
