Bidrage med feedbackI discovered this beautiful hidden gem from a recommendation and made a last-minute booking. I was pleasantly surprised by the stunning location of the restaurant, which is located on the ground floor of a larger function venue. We were greeted and served by a knowledgeable waiter who took great care of us. The menu is designed for sharing and dishes were brought out as they were ready, which was perfect for a cozy dining experience for two. The tzatziki was deliciously thick and served with homemade bread, while the wood-roasted chili complemented the dip perfectly with its smoky flavor. The juicy prawns were served in their shells with rock salt and a wedge of lemon, making them absolutely perfect. The highlight of the meal was the 8-hour roasted lamb, which was incredibly succulent and fell off the bone, accompanied by a delicious red wine sauce. My husband claims it's the best he's ever tasted! The impeccable service and exceptional food make this restaurant a must-visit. The location is also stunning, although there were not many diners on a Saturday night. With such fantastic food, word about this place needs to spread quickly. Thank you, and we look forward to returning with friends.
We had a wonderful experience at this fantastic new Mediterranean restaurant for a 55th birthday celebration. The banquet meal offered a variety of delicious dishes that felt like a fine dining experience. The meats were cooked to perfection and the whole fish was a standout. Even the kids' meals were impressive, with options like tuna steaks and juicy chicken skewers served with broccolini and hand-cut hot chips. The restaurant is very kid-friendly, with a play kitchen in the baby-friendly nappy change room. If the kids get too rowdy, there is a spacious grassy area outside. The restaurant is located in Kyle Bay, formerly an old bowling club, but now boasts a fresh and vibrant white and blue-themed decor.
Bianca: Kyle Bay, you say? I must confess, I tend to stick to the Inner West, but I love trying new foods! One sunny Sunday, my friend Ness and I ventured to the Sutherland Shire to experience JAAKS, a restaurant offering a modern twist on Turkish and Cypriot cuisine. This family-run establishment, led by Turkish head chef Arman Uz, boasts a beautiful, bright, and spacious dining area. The venue includes a large upstairs function space, private dining areas, and the main restaurant, Jaaks, located downstairs.
Been a number of times, always with different friends, always love sharing dushes. Jaaks never disappoints our friends absolutely loved it. Quality freshness of the ingredients is excellent, food is always flavoursome no matter which dish we select. We'll be back.
Sunday lunch on a beautiful sunny day with great views! Food was delicious and so fresh! Highlight would have to be the whole John Dory, delicious!
