English Tea Lounge - Kuwait City

My forth time here, last visit noticed the sofas were renewed with depressing brown/ blue vulgar print, the service is not the usual so is the oriental tea for two. Half of shawarma plate was changed to Falafel sandwiches. Dessert plate was half filled with good vs not so good arabic sweets. The mini baked cheese and zaatar were reheated so became hard.

We went here for afternoon tea. The sandwiches were fine. Scones were served fresh and were delicious. Sweets were terrible. Service was ok, servers seem to be depressed.

One of my old times favorite places to have a nice English tea experience. Too bad there is no live music anymore and the service has declined a little due to inexperienced staff. But still would continue to come here for the food and ambiance.

Beautiful atmosphere. the quality of food was as good as ever. service was great. but not sure why the music was all instrumental disney songs? would prefer a more suitable playlist.
