Monastery Taverna

Staying at the associated hotel next door, we went to this restaurant twice during our stay. We spent two excellent evenings: the dishes were generous and excellent, one of the best we have had (we had octopus, pork, zucchini croquettes, sea bass, shellfish pasta and the orange dessert, Crete's specialty), the waiters and particularly the owner were friendly despite a fairly present language barrier, the view was incredible as were the decoration and the dim lighting of the restaurant and we particularly appreciated the non-alcoholic cocktails made especially for us. Thank you for your kindness, we have excellent memories of our stays with you!

Excellent meal, but a very chic and distinguished restaurant, the waiter who takes the orders should step down a little.... seemingly simple people are not always the least fortunate, something to think about...

It's good in a very pleasant setting. Their beetroot salad is just excellent. The setting and the view are perfect. We had a great time there, I recommend. Don't hesitate to end the evening with a cocktail at the hotel, the view is even more beautiful there.
