Toma's Wine Cellar - Kutaisi

At the beginning it looked like we found a secret gem inside the chaos of Kutaisi! Thomas was so welcoming and looked so promising!! BUT! As the concept supposed to be trying traditional and home made food we trying a selection of 2 cheeses a traditional cucumber and tomato salad marinated with local wine and vinegars another 2 cold plates yes with a lot of taste and 2 hot plates one with chicken and another one with sausage! All in all 4 cold plates and 2 hot! This is not called traditional homemade food! It was obvious that the dishes were already prepared in mass and just served! The taste was nice but expected much more! Also calling a shop wine cellar but have available only one option for wine looke bad! With a few more touches this could be much more better!!!!

The best things we saw and tried in Kutaisi. Tomas, although very kind, explained to us in fluent English about each dish he brought to the table. All cooked by his mom and delicious. I highly recommend it! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
