Bidrage med feedbackI love your cakes! Its a shame the your have closed to the public and only online orders. Do you have a local shop or pick up times we can get an order
You should check this place out just for the chocolate milkshakes alone. Not cheap but they have heaps of ice cream and are well worth the price.
Grabbed an early tea here today. Loved the friendly greeting in this super casual cafe. We were here for the 'souvas ', and there 's a great selection. Cutting to the chase, the O/H went with 'Meat Lover 's Souvlaki ', this is a feast in itself. While he chose to leave off the tzatziki (I know, but what can you do? , everything else on it was his idea of a good thing, not one, but three meats (he went lamb and chicken , but it includes bacon as the third meat, bbq sauce (see, I mean who has bbq sauce of souvlaki? , chips and salad. He finished the lot. I chose the 'Zahari Skewers ' and stayed trad. with lamb, it includes pita, tzatziki, salad and chips. The lamb was beautifully cooked, charred on the outside, and pink within. The meat was difficult to get off the first skewer, I think the burnt end had swollen the wood or something, but the second was easy. Yum. We shared some good chips topped with oregano and a lovely creamy feta. Two kids had the saganaki, and the third chose the Grilled Calamari. This was such a generous serve of calamari, the likes of which I have never seen. I am told it was perfectly tender too. <br/ <br/ We also indulged in milk shakes of various flavours, though unfortunately they were not able to indulge my O/H in his favourite spearmint today. There was some gelato at the end, (lemon lime made a delicious change from the usual lemon I go for and we have taken some cakes away, they look great, we have yet to try though. I am told the coffee is of a very good standard too, by my coffee addicted partner. <br/ <br/ We did not see any options for the fancy milkshakes like the image above (with extra toppings .<br/ <br/ Great service, good prices, relaxed, casual, no frills cafe. Worthwhile.
Comfortable little cafe with DELICIOUS deserts!!! they can also make a great Greek coffee which I really appreciate. The food didn't really stand out to me, but that's all okay when the sweets are to die for! We had the louklumades (with Nutella and baklava (almost better than yiayas but shh don't tell her
Stepping inside Zahari, you are GREETED by photos of a WELL DRESSED MAN.<br/ 'Who are the photos of? ' this Whip enquired. 'The Greek FRANK SINATRA ' we were told. GOT IT!<br/ <br/ Because Zahari is next to KFC, with attached signage, we thought it was linked somehow, BUT NO! GOOD! The Double Shot Macchiato, was SUPERB. But too strong for this Whip. Needed extra milk. 'You should have got a PICCOLO! ' we were told. We live and learn, hey!<br/ <br/ Ps this Cafe is open LONG HOURS, and will be open LONG AFTER all the HIPSTER BARISTA 'S have gone shopping for their VINTAGE bicycles etc.. Lol.
