I have been a regular at this bar for a few years as it was a great place to stop through before catching up with friends. On my last visit I called in for a glass of wine at the shared front table. When I ordered the wine I was asked if I wanted water still or sparkling? As the offer was there I suggested sparkling would be nice. The girl placed a bottle on the table and filled up my glass whilst I was on the phone. I sipped on the glass over my glass of wine and when I went to pay was charge over $12 for the sparkling almost as much as the glass of wine!! I don't have an issue with being charged for sparkling water BUT I do have an issue with staff NOT telling you that the sparkling is part of the bill or is charged!!! When challenged the staff member was incredibly rude. She told me it was a standard practice in bars to charge for sparking!! So rude. I get it but it's not standard practice not to let your customers know when they're just having a glass of wine. I won't be heading back to this bar again staff need to be more customer focused there are plenty of other places in Richmond to try. A very UGLY experience! Atmosphere: 3

Great cocktails and nice atmosphere. Service is great too! Nice place if you are looking for something more private and chill.
