Shuji Sushi - Kurunjang

The store hours said they were open until 5pm. We got there at 4pm and the door was open so we walked in. No staff members around until one entered the restaurant from the side of the building. Without greeting us he just said the kitchen is closed then walked out. Needs to adjust their hours if they have no intention of serving customers inside these business hours. Service: 1

Close to office space so convenient. I had been to three times now. Looks like inflation took a toll. Had chicken fried rice twice. First time noticed lack of meat. Today enquired about it to confirm. It seems they limit to 4 pieces. Asked them to reduce the rice. FWIW it neither feels Japanese nor Chinese. I love both cuisines. Took my order then I had to wait 40+ minutes for it to arrive. They didn’t tell me it would take that long. I won’t be eating there again. Food not that great.

Surprisingly it does have a vegetarian menu! I ordered the soba noodles and it was good. I have heard the non vegetarian is pretty good at this place.
