Bidrage med feedbackI got a pineapple fried rice with chicken for lunch. At first glance, it didn’t look like there was a lot, but there turned out to be a lot of chicken and I struggled to finish the whole plate. I would have liked some more pineapple though. A great affordable place for a quick lunch.
I have been constantly ordering deliveries from this restaurant with the same menu : Crispy Pork Kana Rice. This deserves more recognition. Juicy pork, amazing vegetable, perfect sunny side-up, and generous portion. Would order this repeatedly. It‘s a hidden gem.
Stuck in a bit of s rut in Dockland for lunch so decided I need to venture further afield. I came across a familiar name in Pok Pok Junior. I’ve been to the other Pok Pok many times but glad of s chance to try somewhere same same but different. Quite a hidden away location with a range of eateries that isn’t that obvious from Bourke Street. It was a busy wee spot but fortunately take away order was delivered quick pronto and I sat outside and enjoyed. <br/ <br/ I ordered Kao Sai Chiang Mai with chicken (basically a coconut based chicken noddle curry). Though mild it did come with a significant number of chillies that could be avoided or blended, as I did. Mouth hummingly good. Plenty of delicious tender chicken and I loved the addition of noddles to the curry, added texture of crunchy noodles over the top. Would definitely come back here again. As service was fast and food was super tasty
Delicious Thai food, conveniently located at St. James courtyard. We started our meal with the Chiang Mai pork sausage, which is a Northen Thai style of sausage. It was spicy and definitely authentic. For mains, we had crispy pork belly with kana (chinese broccoli), pad cha with crispy rocklings and Kao Soi, which is kinda like a laksa but with thai flavours. All the dishes were delicious and we really enjoyed our meal.
The dishes were good and flavoursome. The portions were good as well. The crispy pork belly and the duck noodle soup were awesome. But the highlight for us was the spicy sausage. Full of flavours and packed the heat.
