Kilgerron Homestead - Kurunjang

Opportunity to make a good place great. This place has lots of charm and the quality of the food is very good. What is letting it all down appears to be lack of professional management around all the things that count in a good customer experience. We were ther for lunch today, the open fire was roaring but the restaurant was quite cold, we mentioned it but in the end had my coat over my knees and was happy to leave as we were all feeling chilled. The service is too slow although the staff are lovely, its all very 'home run ' and the wait time unacceptable. We had to ask for the bill twice and then it didn 't have a total so we had to add it up on our phone. Its a great venue for a family style get together, we took our Dad and it has great ambience in being a homestyle home cooked environment. Would definitely consider going back but hope they take this feedback as constructive and look at the points mentioned as the average per person rate is around $30 with a drink so this needs to be considered when choosing a professionally run environment to spend your dollars.

Kool little restaurant which I think was a house a long time ago feels like you are in someone's lounge the food is very good I got a Parma which was very nice and my dad got pork chips which the servings were huge will definitely go back again.

Went there for my husband's b'day. Great atmosphere and nice staff. The ambience is good and has a homely touch to everything.

A hidden Gem. A Sunday breakfast has never been more enjoyable! A quiet and cosy location in an old 1920's styled homestead that seems to have a fair bit of history in the local area the owners (Jack and Ruby a lovely, friendly and open couple who we met and gave us a tour of the back of the place) obviously had a vision for the homestead that has been bloomed We felt very comfortable and cosy here reminding me of my gran's place in many aspects and the service was extraordinarily intimate. The girls are always a pleasure to talk to so much so we often invite them to join us for coffee!<br/ <br/ It's a hidden gem in the area and one we return to over and over.

Highly recommended! Four of us dined here last night and had an excellent experience overall. The food, atmosphere, and staff were all fantastic. It's a wonderful, quiet spot where you can sit and chat without having to yell at each other. An amazing place at a very reasonable price!
