Service here is unbeatable, every staff was so kind, welcoming and went above and beyond to entertain us. The food itself was ok, the broth was nice but not the kind I would come back for. The sides were also just ok, but that's probably our fault for our choices. Come expecting damage to your wallet. Overall, happy I visited but a little disappointing when it comes to the food!

They offer an iPad to each table for ordering food. Waitress put away my jacket, provide free hand wipes and snacks. Free porridge and fruit. Free nail beauty work. Great service. Server remove the rubbish from the dining table frequently. A great place to celebrate birthday/anniversary, the staff will celebrate with you together. Been there twice, the price is matching the quality of the service, and the taste of the hot pot is great. The food is very fresh. Definitely will visit frequently. Love the dinning environment.

We really enjoyed the dining experience, wait staff are all really friendly and attentive. My favorite part is the sauces station, get to mix your own sauces and they provide some complementary side dishes. The egg dumplings are a must try, reminds me of my childhood where my dad would make them for Shanghainese hotpot. The meats were nice. Overall great experience.

So overpriced, but worth going for the fun experience. Food: Was actually very fresh, just too expensive. The soup bases were delicious but very peppery. Service: What makes HDL famous is not the food, but the impeccable service. A waiter/waitress is assigned to each table and they take care of you the whole night. Everyone who works there is friendly. Even the bathrooms are extra fancy and stocked with mouthwash, perfumes, etc. Not only this, but they offer you mints at the end of the meal and provide you with gift bags filled with snacks. Atmosphere: Very nice and spacious, as expected of a world famous franchise. I appreciate how each table has their own booth. There is also occasional Chinese opera performances and dancing noodle shows (if you order the dish)
