Bidrage med feedbackAte at Farol Macau for dinner. We ordered the Portuguese chicken on rice and spaghetti bolognese. The Portuguese chicken was creamy and the chicken was tender. The cheese on the spaghetti dish was a little burnt on parts. It would have been good had they taken it out of the oven a few minutes earlier.<br/ <br/ For dessert we had the steamed egg custard. I liked that they warmed it up a little. It was silky and not too sweet. We also had a slice of the Japanese cheesecake. I would come just to have a slice of that cake.<br/ <br/ Instagram @flabnbone_food
It was impressed the sauce was creamy n yummy. Rice was coconut rice that was tasty. Lemon tea was watery and not like the iced tea that I used to drink in Hong Kong n Macau. Will go again to try the other dishes
Came here for afternoon tea, had a satay beef vermicelli with an almond drink, and a egg custard pudding (hot). Bang for buck, $13 total. Satay beef was marinated well and the sauce was aromatic, the egg custard pudding was well made, can really taste the eggy flavor, and the almond drink was fragrant to my liking. Good spot for a snack in the arvo!
Delicious portioned out. Had the ox tongue on rice and the portion is really worth it. A must try for ox lovers. The other is red bean tomato sauce pork knuckles is really tender and soft and the sauce is to die for! Look forward next!
Despite the number of not great reviews here, I enjoy the food here,I like their $11.80 specials that include a drink and are excellent value, the majority of the food is quite different to your standard casual Chinese food found in Melbourne,Im not from Macau, so I dont know whether the food is authentic or not but its pretty good for me.As for the service, most of the complaints are about one staff member and I think she knows who she is. However, this place is good for a quick, casual relaxing meal
