Delicious food served with quality customer service in a lovely location. Good change up from the usual Italian establishments of the area. Empanadas (vegan this time! were tasty and perfectly crunchy on the outside.

Ok I need to talk about 2 very important things 1 is the food authentic, delicious, yummy goodness! 2 is the customer service. I cant wait to try everything on the menu!

So the decor and music is pretty terrible, if kinda authentically terrible it’s like a Latin 90s throw back. But the food is amazing, the wine list is excellent and the staff are fabulous. The chimichurri is out of this world. I think we’ve found our new favourite local!

We came here on a Friday night for some dinner and wine and we left with so much more! Amazing, genuine service, memories, and a truly remarkable time. The asado was made the truly traditional way: over charcoal. It was juicy, tender, and full of flavour. The empanadas were also filled to perfection; we loved that there were multiple options of them on the menu to suit us all. The choripan was exactly as it should be. Genuine, melt-in-your-mouth Chorizo was used, with pebre on the top to give it the special Chilean kick. Our first time at Chalice was a truly great experience. If you’re after true hospitality, traditional Latin food and a certainly satisfying beverage menu, Chalice should be your number one option on Lygon street. We’ll most definitely be back!
