Cafe Kuranda

Kuranda Villageの角にあるお店。フォッカチャ、バーガーやトルティーヤ等がメインで、子供向けのコンボメニューもあります。何となく静かな、時間がゆっくり流れているお店と言う印象。娘さんと思われる方が厨房、そのお母さんと思われる方が店内に。注文はカウンターでします。缶コーラのついたバーガーセットは10.5ドルとお得。その場で焼いたパテは手作り感のする素朴な味で、ボリュームあり。赤ガブも入っていました。

This was the place we first stopped at in town having arrived in the Sky Rail, it is on the edge a small indoor market and the cool drinks and toastie Hit the spot The service was friendly and efficient

We waited about 40 minutes for our meals. They were ok, but we probably wouldn't go back there again. At least it was somewhere dry to sit!

Whilst visiting the Kuranda Market complex, we asked one of the stall holders where was a good place for lunch, and she recommended nearby Café Kuranda, which is also in the Kuranda Market complex. We were able to have a chat with the owner of this café and what hard workers she and her staff are. This is good honest food and the service is special too. We chose the barramundi with chips and salad and a slice of home-made tart . We were very pleased with the food and the price was not over the top. Where we were sitting, we could view the chef cooking the meals. On the day we were there, it was quite busy, but we were served quickly and courteously. We would certainly recommend this establishment.
