Blocco - Kuopio

Awesome place, the pizza was amazing! Updated from previous review on 2023-09-12

Blocco offers two different vegan pizzas on the menu. Both look great there and the Pesto Rosso one is great. The stuff is nice and helpful as well.

Two clearly stated vegan options. Marinara and ratatuille (both without cheese). Had the ratatuille which was really tasty. The crust is superb in this place. Also the Blocco mule coctail was really refreshing take on the moscow mule. Little bit cinnamony and spicy. HappyCow description claims that there's vegan cheese available, but this wasn't apparent in the menu (didn't bother to ask though). Would recommend to inquire. All in all would definitely recommed to visit! The interior decor is lovely and staff helpful.

We went there on a Saturday around 7pm, waited 45min for out food, because the place was packed. Location is good, but there are so many tables, we didn't have space for jackets or even to just move. The waitress was walking into my chair a few times and I had to move constantly to let other people pass, while I was eating. The pizza was good! But the edges where really big, probably a third of the pizza.

Great pizza and staff are friendly. Be very busy, so book! The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but one of the tables is right in front of the entrance, so it was a bit unpleasant to sit there.
