Family run by a husband and wife team, the restaurant is open for breakfast until dinner. Small tables both inside and in the small garden provide about 20 seats and the decor is full of film prints, old cameras and radios etc, giving it an eclectic vibe. The menu is varied although not huge and chilled beer is also available. Our choices were the Ginger chicken with lemon rice and a spicy curry with rice and naan bread, both of which were superb. The husband does the cooking with his wife serving, and on this occasion also helped by their young daughter. Prices were very reasonable too. Whilst not luxurious, we felt we were getting a genuine family run Indian experience and if we are in Thekkady again we would not hesitate to return.
The owners are super friendly.Food are so good....Owner will go the extra mile ....He even helped us connect for stay in Munnar.....Place is simple with a touch of rustic and antique ...very down to earth place .....We would defnitly be back whenever we come back to Thekkady Kerala
Best food i had from thekkady. We went for a family trip last weekend to Thekkady. This was found to be one of the small open air food joint at Thekkady, filled with great music and antiques. Food is so great we went again on second day. It is a must visit place.
Amazing ambience and amazing food . One of the sit out where you can have a beer and order food. Foods are prepared freshly after ordering and hence expect some delay . Quality and taste was good
Good ambience but taste of food was just okay. Good to try once if u ain't scared of insects. Being a rooftop cafe , there are many.
