Bidrage med feedbackWe were looking for a slightly different dinner experience from the much-loved good-bourgeois cuisine (which is not really translated, but rather raised, but traditional), and so we found this restaurant. And it didn't disappoint! The gourmet menu of the young...Koch is fixed, you can only select the number of courses (5/6) and whether you want suitable wines. Not all of us took the same number of courts, but that was not a problem. The dishes were excellent, they were a mixture of typical Tyrolean ingredients with some unexpected additions and spins. Every dish a surprise. Great. Wines were a good game. The staff was also very pleasant, from the moment we parked until we left. The lady of the house visited the tables to check us out. The atmosphere was very relaxed. Only a very _pleasing_ evening, for lack of a better word. We felt good after that. Even though I cannot vouch for the traditional part of the menu (from the original cook, the father), I like the concept of a restaurant that wants the wishes of those who want something else, with those who swear by traditional Tyrolean dishes.
The short stop we made at the Riedel factory near the end of July made us remember just how wonderful the food was directly across the street! Smelling the wonders of this Austrian kitchen, we decided to bid farewell to Kufstein on a very hot...afternoon. The restaurant in this hotel has one of the most beautiful settings ever! All Bavarian wood, fine linens and, naturally, Riedel glass everywhere, well, it was always special to us. The veal dishes are beautifully seasoned and prepared, with every fresh vegetable popular at this time of year, but especially the mushrooms! I can't wiat to return this winter, greet its charming manager, and settle in for whatever is seasonally present in this special Inn River Valley. The soups are special, desserts divine, and the entrees perfectly cooked to our tastes. I am longing for any of their mushrooms right now, as I sit here remembering! We shall return! 1
