We reserved a table on recommendation and were lucky to get another one. In the evening, many people had to be released because everything was booked. The food was excellent, we were all very satisfied, but I would like to highlight the exceptionally good service here. We felt very careless without it being intrusive. Prices are in any case appropriate for the service and quality of food. I recommend to everyone who appreciates this kind of restaurants to spend an evening here.

Absolutely recommended!!! The location is at the top, just outside the visitor streams, but still close to the center. The service is top, friendly, attentive and professional! The food tastes great from appetizer to dessert. Meat and fish were put to the point. At any time.

We came as a hiker in Bernkastel Kues at the crowded place looking for a restaurant without frits and flashcakes and found in a side street near the center of this stunning restaurant. A family-run restaurant with very friendly service. The Lord of the House prepares the courts while his wife and daughter in service to do their work with heart and soul. Since no tables were free in the house, we immediately got a table and covered. About excellent cuisine with great compositions on appetizers, main dishes and desserts. We can only report the best of all here. Staff at any time friendly, communicative and open minded with good recommendations. The food was uniquely good, the steak butterzart (the knife could have been left for decoration), the truffle-fatuccine a high pleasure. We were there for three and would come back at any time. A highlight in the past was the boss, who first canceled me for the table (it was reserved on the same day for October 3rd, there was already everything full) and then retrieved me super nicely when someone canceled. The evening was an absolute highlight.
