Ταβέρνα Μαριού (taverna Mariou)

Best lamb I’ve eaten so far in Crete! The food was simple but to die for. Also, the waiters were super nice and had genuine smiles for you: if you’re in the area, you have to eat here and I promise you, you will come back for more.

Wow this place gets busy! Around 7PM all tables were full and we were lucky to have one without a reservation. Mostly Germans (groups) visiting after sport activities. The food is fresh and tasteful, the service very friendly. The view over the bay is amazing.

The best food I tasted in Crete. Definitely the perfect place — nice ambiance, perfect view, very nice personal, amazing food.
