Fantastic Cretan service with a welcoming smile and local produce always on hand. Beautiful cafe with traditional style furniture.

I was traveling through a village called Skines in Crete and came across a very stylish cafe owned by George,I had the best freddo espresso ever.The owner was knowledgeable about the area and was more than helpful with our questions all and a great place to stop while going through to Souda beach recommend it to everyone one,the cafes name is Spatharos.

This is a great place — excellent coffee (any style) and a nice local hangout. George handles the place, and he serves with generosity and a smile. We were the only tourists so we kept coming back. Play backgammon while you listen to conversations in Greek, the world’s problems disappear.

Amazing authentic place. Thank you for the great tour at the back picking up oranges, mandarins and grapefruit. The coffee was not delicious as well!
