Bidrage med feedbackSushi was great, have to admit it, and quantity/price ratio was also great imho BUT DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU ARE HUNGRY because Waiting time is just ridiculously long Even in the middle of the week, early afternoon hours. We were dying of hunger, had plans to sightseen some museums and decided to drop by for sushi as it should be a quick light meal. Waitress DID NOT inform us about the waiting time. It took them almost am hour to prepare an order for 4 people. We were late for the museum we planned. And sushi came without wasabi
I don't wanna complain about food taste and quality, they are okay. It's a good place to go if you are Retired because they take forever to serve Going out with your date plenty time to discuss, they will never disturb you. Not even with food. Your child ready to loose milk teeth their avocados are served in unripe state. Harder than rock, one can say. Ask for wasabi, they sometimes forget to serve wasabi with sushis. Friendly waitresses. Decent ambience. Decent price vs quantity.
Came on Sunday around 1 pm. It took them 1 hour to bring me my sushi (I would say at 30 percent customer capacity). The sushi itself was alright, but definitely not worth waiting so long when time is valuable for me as a tourist. I definitely won't come back.
Place kinda smells of mold. it really ruins the atmosphere. we went as a group of 11 people and we had to wait for 1,5 h to actually eat something. I can understand how serving 11 people with fresh sushi can be challenging, but no one warned us beforehand that it might be an issue and that we will be waiting for SO long. We expected 30/40 min, but not almost 2 hours.
It 's hard to describe the amount of things which went wrong at Genji today. We came 2 couples with small children, we were served menu 's and drinks relatively fast. From there is where it went downhill. We ordered the Best Friends set, Honey something Sushi, and the Deep fried Jalapeno sushi. About 30 minutes after we ordered food, the Best Friends set was delivered to our table. Following that we waiting 15 minutes to get plates, chop sticks and soy sauce, which is okay it can happen. At this point 45 minutes had gone by, the best friend set was on the table but we were still waiting for the Honey and Jalepeno sushi. When 1 hour had gone by since ordering, I enquired about the missing sushi sets, and the waitress informed me that she is aware that we are missing the Honey and Jalepeno sushi. An additional 15 minutes go by, so it 's now been 1h 15 min since we ordered, and our friends has finished eating their meal and we were still waiting for our food. The waitress had not been back with us to tell us anything about the order, or apologies for the delay. After 1h 30m she comes back to our table and tell 's us that the honey sushi was included on the ' 'boat ' ' which we had been told were the Best Friends set. And that she was still waiting for the jalapeno sushi 's. At that point we were hungry and a bit annoyed, so we told her that we didn 't want the Jalapeno sushi 's any longer, and that we find it super strange that the honey sushi had already been served with the Best Friends set, when the waitress didn 't inform us and had previously confirmed that she was aware that we are awaiting the Honey and Jalapeno sushi 's. So we told her that we longer wanted the jalapeno sushi, and just wanted the bill so we could leave. She brought the bill, and she was still charging us for the Honey set (which we had no idea had been delivered) and the Jalapeno sushi which never came (well she brought them out with her, when she came with the bill). Honestly this whole mess could have easily been avoided if the waitress had communicated with us, and came to us to apologies and keep us up to date on the delay. The waitress seemed super stressed, so I apologies for being rude with her. We were just hungry and unhappy.
