Ares Bar Restaurant - Kowloon

A must. the atmosphere at ares is incredible, I love eating and drinks. this octopus puffball was perfect. the bartender is super friendly and have a good sense of humor. rick is an ingenious guy, sweat a lot and extremely humble. in any case recommended, atmosphere, personal and eating are top notch!

A local bar, good place to have a beer or two if in the area

Great bar to catch up with friends and colleagues. It's not too loud and background music is awesome, including lots of old hits for us 90s kids. Good happy hour deals, with some buy 1 get 1 offers. Draft beer choices a little limited to only Guinness, Kronenburg, Asahi, and Hong Kong Yau beers. Fries and chicken fingers were equally delicious. They also have two dart boards for you to play.

Friendly place with a simple decoration, music that's just at the right volume so people can actually talk (yes, social interaction! . Yau beer on tap, which is awesome and not so common. Food is quite nice too. The place is rather tiny so it can be difficult to cop a seat at peak hours. There are two darts station, but they're very much in the entrance so you shouldn't hope for undisturbed playing, but that's totally fine for casual players and remains a nice addition to the place

The menu has a good eclectic selection but also includes some classic favourites with a personal touch that seals the deal for people that want variety and comfort food. Inside it's cosy and has a rustic modern bar vibe.
