Bidrage med feedbackGreat coffee shop in the city to try local dishes eg. Mee tuaran and Kuching laksa. Staff are very attentive and sharp. There’s no menu so I ordered without knowing the prices. Food came out fast. Overall no complaints. I might try the coconut as many tables were ordering that for only rm5. Total bill was rm23 including 1 mee tuaran, 1 Kuching laksa and 1 teh.
Came here right after arriving in KK, good that they close only at 4pm. Tried the standard Tuaran Mee and also the rice wine version. Both are good. The rice wine version is wetter and sweeter than the standard version but loved the aroma of the rice wine.
I tried the supposedly famous Kuching laksa but it wasn't as good as I had expected. Perhaps I prefer other versions. Laksa had the curry powder grainy texture. A bowl comes with chicken breast meat, tak pau and 2 pieces of small sea prawns. The teh tarik is super super sweet despite ordering less sweet version.
Food was good here. There's no menu so you just have to look at the options on the wall and on the stalls. Service was prompt and food was served quite fast. Take note though if you're interested in ordering a coconut, go pick it yourself or otherwise, they'll serve you with an old one.
Yummy #TomYum in é house, tom yum noodle choice of yellow noodle or mee hon with it's soup taste so good and full of flavour with decent numbers of Prawn, it's spiciness is just moderate, they do have other items on the menu as well, Tuaran Mee is equally good
