Medovik Coffee House - Kota Kinabalu

Interesting Azerbaijani food, even if what I ordered was not as tasty as I had hoped. No view from the cafe, but you can walk out and look around from the 8th floor

First time being here. It was OK. The chicken stew rice tastes better than cheesy Russian dumplings zakuska pelmeni. Raf coffee tastes good, not very sweet. The honey cake is a bit sweet to me. It's located in the bay 21 building 8th floor. Parking ticket is 2rm at the first hr, rm1 for the subsequent hr. Rmb to claim the rm2 from counter for parking fee.

Air-conditioned coffee house at Level 8 of Bay 21 Condominium. Proper signage direct towards this coffee house. Good ambience. Visited here last month during public holiday. Quite a wait. Otherwise, food tasted fine. Not that savoury as compared to the taste in Moscow years back. Outdoor mini playground can be accessed through this coffee house. Do observe your kids when at playground as nearby to pool. Will visit this coffee house to try other menu. Do visit here if you are nearby.

The cafe is part of Bay 21 condo. Signage to the cafe could've been better, especially from carpark. Same floor with gym pool. Nice small cafe. Have nice view to the sea. Served by the owner's daughter. The dumpling was a bit too salty hard to my liking. May return to try the heavier meals.

First time trying Russian cuisine. Location: Slightly bumpy road leading up to the Bay 21 Condominium (restaurant is located at the 8th floor), ample parking space about 200m from the building. Ambience: 5/5. Quiet place with great view outside the restaurant. Be sure to go outside and enjoy the pool and city view! Food: 5/5. Shuba Salad (furcoat salad) was very appetising. Must try! Blinchiki (Russian stuffed pancakes) exceeds expectations, the crust itself was delicious enough with generous stuffing. Golubtsy (Cabbage roll) has similar stuffing like the stuffed pancakes, so I think can just order either one of them. Golubtsy for a healthier option, or blinchiki if you like the pancake texture. Love it too. Zakuska Pelmeni (Russian dumplings) was alright to me although other reviewers and bloggers have highly recommended it. Took a bit long for meals to be served, but otherwise still a very pleasant dining experience!
