Marrakesh Moroccan Restaurant

The restaurant is located at Hotel Halm. It is therefore easy to eat here when we stay in Constance, as we book our room at the hotel. The food is great and the atmosphere gives you a feeling to be in Morocco. Make sure you're hungry... the portion is impressive!

Try meatball! Fantastic. The wine is also good. Take your time and enjoy the atmosphere.

We decided to eat in this restaurant while staying at Halm Hotel, considering the impressive arquitecture and decoration, Moroccan style. the staff was only on average generous from my side. food was sometimes bad, sometimes acceptable. the Harira had good taste, but the chickpeas were hard. the couscous had no taste (bad seasoning), chickpeas again hard and dry (it should be served with a little more sauce). the chicken tajine with almonds and lemon was good, but the presentation could improve (i expected boneless chicken served). the price was moderate: you can count with 25 35 euros per person (not included) after this spectacular dining room has tried, I do not think I will return until I hear that the staff (students, kitchen team and cook) has been changed for a better team.

We dined at the Marrakesh during our stay in Konstanz, mostly because we were traveling with our 12 month old son and staying at the Hotel Halm and didn't want to go far in the evening. It turned out to be the highlight of our trip! The tagines we ordered were fabulous on a cold rainy March evening. The flavors were excellent. I haven't heard my husband rave about a meal like that in ages! The staff was wonderfully attentive, helpful and patient with our son. The desserts were a lovely complement to the heavier mains, very light but no less exquisite. Highly recommend!

The room is very beautiful and has style. but we were disappointed by the service and eating. we lacked the typical flavor. the spicy chicken tagine was too lazy for my taste and I missed the spice. in both dressings lacked the homemade mauric bread.The appetizers were delicious: roasted vegetables with maurian seasonings and briuats were very good.The service could be much more friendly. from 21 o'clock, the tables for the breakfast are prepared all around, which does not contribute to the cozyness.
