Almost makes me forget that I am in hustle bustle of Mumbai City. <br/ <br/ We are not always known for our warm hospitality-The foods are superb, the salads are enormousssssssss.....and the desserts are sinful! <br/ <br/ Skip lunch, go in hungry and be prepared for a joyous evening!
Vegetarian gourmet restaurant with a difference. If you are in mood to try unknown flavours combined in unusual ways, this is the right place for you. I have never had sabudana soaked in beetroot juice and used in place of boondi in raita. Their fresh herbs risotto had okra in it!! Have to hand it out to the chefs for dishing out one exotic plate after another with painstaking plating et al. Enjoyed my own master chef like experience. Make sure you are not too hungry else the small meal size may be a disappointment.
Went to TAG for lunch but found the place a bit cold and dull as was empty where all places around were packed. The life of the place were the interesting selection of coffee table books on display and for sale. That made us want to atleast sit and try a salad. The Watermelon Sashimi salad was really nice and I assume the rest of food would be too but since we were in mood of a more livelier place, we asked for the cheque.
Divine, mind blowing, out of the world are some of the adjectives that come to my mind after my visit at TAG GourmArt Kitchen By Ranveer Brar.<br/ <br/ Every dish is a palate elevating experience. Every plate is a piece of art which has been articulately laid out for you. One could have never expected vegetarian food to be so sublimely exotic. <br/ <br/ Chef Ranveer Brar is definitely India’s answer to Gordon Ramsay. Hats off to Chef Ranveer for putting GourmArt on the international map. Finally we have something to be proud of. <br/ <br/ A round of applause to Natasha Gowani for promoting art and culture with such a brilliant concept.<br/ <br/ A vote of thanks for the warm hospitality from the TAG GourmArt team Shirin and Nikhil for inviting me over. Someone who really balled us up with his smiling face and service was Sahil. He deserves a pat on the back too!
Carrot cake in black rice is one of the most exotic things you'd eat. And the lavender iced tea is absolutely out of the world. All fishes are small bites so amongst the four of us we ended up ordering 10 dishes, none of which you would have ever heard of most probably.
