Very nice resturant. Great owners! Good old school Mumbai bar. Food is good and so are the drinks. The staff is helpful and friendly . Since 1974. Must check out for great street food served in the ac.

Review – SR Restaurant Lounge<br <br The credit of finding this location goes to Mr. Rajamouli.. Thanks to Bahubali! :D After watching the majestic movie at Roxy, we were faced with a challenging question as to where to satisfy the ‘majestic hunger’! (After watching the almost 3 hour long movie.. we were really hungry! So, our quest for locating another place in the near vicinity brought us to this restaurant known as ‘SR Restaurant Lounge’. Being a Friday evening, I had called the restaurant earlier asking them to book the table and I was responded stating that there wouldn’t be any problem with the tables and the same would be arranged easily. However, when we reached the restaurant (at almost about 10:30 p.m. , the restaurant was almost full and for most of the time, the 5 of us had to be cramped up and seated on a table for 4! Guess the manager had underestimated the popularity of his own restaurant or may be the crowd sentiments to celebrate on a ‘Friday night’!<br <br Even though our table attendant assured us that another table will be arranged shortly, we proceeded with ordering since we were really very hungry:<br <br Drinks <br Classic Fruit Punch – interesting mix and a really refreshing drink!<br <br Starters <br Paneer Butter Garlic – This was something really interesting. The flavor of butter and garlic really complimented the paneer well. A must try I’d say!<br Nachos (plain regular nachos – Another dish well prepared! The cheese sauce in this dish preparation was really well prepared. Also, there was a separate red sauce which was served with this really tasted good with the Nachos!<br Hot Sicilian Paneer – Though this dish was suggested to us as a hot favourite at the restaurant, I found it to be a regular paneer dish prepared in the standard red pasta style gravy herbs. The capsicum was also not well cooked, hence better avoided..<br <br Main course <br Burnt Chilly Garlic Paneer (worth a try! <br Paneer Musselum – (Paneer preparation in red gravy <br Veg Chilly Milly (This dish was recommended to us, but the attendant forgot to mention that it would be very spicy! Made most of the guests finishing their glasses of water bottoms up! <br <br Rotis <br Garlic Naan (though we had ordered cheese garlic naan, we were served only with garlic naan. We were billed for the garlic naan with cheese, but on pointing it out to the manager, the same was rectified. However, cheese or not, this is worth trying! <br Onion Kulcha (The onions in the kulcha really stood out.. definitely worth a try! <br Butter Roomali Roti (This received a negative feedback from almost everyone at our table stating the roti was still raw. Previously know as the Shri Ram restaurant. Went there on a Saturday evening with friends and had a very good experience. Its a small place but very well managed. The manager i guess met us at gate somehow and asked us very pleasing to get in. As well the the service provided by the staff was good. They have a long menu which has various types of cuisines they have a bar too. The food was also delicious we ordered paneer chilly, something like roasted paneer, noodles and The Panipuri Shots. Everything was tasty Panipuri shots were awesome one must try them. One thing which i did not like was the dim light in there had to use the flash to take pics.<br/ Overall Enjoyed <br/

Had been here many times. One of best Pav bhaji n tava pulav in mumbai which is there signature dish. Serves lot of continental n Chinese dishes but pure veg. Good place to hv small party of 50 person as they have convertible banquet . Also their fusion panir butter pepper garlic is worth trying
