Bidrage med feedbackTouching raw chicken with spatula and going straight to serving noodles. Umm I ask for chopsticks twice and still not getting any! Things are different after covid and asking for a livable wage. Service is 4 stars because everything is not her fault.Atmosphere is 1 star because everything is rushed. No on out of 8 finished the meal. Portions shrunk no two shrimp for eachdinner ordered) Food 2 star I didn't eat the noodles!
Great Japanese food. Fair pricing. Good service. Fantastic tataki. Udon was not impressive. Unflavorful and overdone. I suspect the kitchen focuses on the hibachi and not Japanese cuisine
After passing by this relatively new restaurant at 1540 E. Boulevard (close to Panera Bread), I finally had the opportunity to check it out this past week. I didn’t order a steak dinner or swordfish; instead, I opted for a quick lunch: the Fired Island sushi roll. It was quite delicious and had a nice kick to it. The service was excellent as well. I also took a look around the premises, and it seems like a lovely spot to bring my wife for dinner sometime. I gave it five stars, but keep in mind that this is a preliminary rating based on just one visit.
Lack of flavor and seasoning. The dish reminded me of what you’d find in a nursing home, and that's a generous description. The person who took our order over the phone made mistakes with both of our meals, and I ended up with something entirely different from what I requested. They weren’t even busy at the time. I’m not sure what went wrong, but it used to be so good.
This was my second visit, and to be honest, I probably won't return. I have a passion for sushi and am always on the lookout for great sushi places, but this isn't one of them. My meal was better during my first visit, though the service has consistently been excellent.
