Brusseler - Köln

Brusseler is a great pub I always look forward to visiting whenever I am in the Belgium Quarter of Cologne. I love the look of this pub,exposed brickwork, great decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar, tv's to enjoy the sport and plenty...of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling streets around Brusseler Platz. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Thursday night, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff who served us a beer each,we opted to have a Gaffel Kölsch beer each,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the great vibe in this busy and popular pub. Cologne is justifiably famous for its amazing range of Kölsch beers and Gaffel Kölsch beer is one of the most prevalent throughout this city,its a light,hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste,very easy to drink,a beer style I really enjoy. We really enjoyed our beers in here and the great atmosphere so much so that we ended up staying for another beer each and a green mint shot drink before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Brusseler is easy to locate on Brusseler Platz, a square and area teeming with pubs,bars and restaurants. Well worth checking out if your in the area.

Great place to meet with friends or have a drink as a couple. Low key yet amazing food, and best service!! They are so friendly and make you feel welcome. Price-quality is great! And in a great neighbourhood for a night out. Will be back!

Great selection of koelsch beer and weissbier and succulent rotisserie chicken, which you can order with french style fries (oddly not Dutch/Belgian thick cut, given the place's name) or salad. A simple but friendly place where you can watch soccer basically, the Cologne equivalent of...Cheers. Proust!

Looking for a friendly pub in this über-hip area? Brüsseler is the place to be. The chicken is amazing and the selection of draft beers good. If you are into Gin you will find a nice selection as well.

Popped in here while waiting for our dinner reservation and then came back after for a night cap. Great stylish little bar that also does food. Outdoor seating and charming staff. Open late on weekends and seems popular with locals. Surrounded by plenty of other...bars and restaurants and in a great area for people watching.
