観光地からも近く、近辺にはホテルが多いので旅行者に最適な立地です。 他の明神丸支店と比べて落ち着いた雰囲気の入口なので、看板を注意深く見ていないと通り過ぎてしまうかもしれません。 高知市内のいくつかのお店でカツオのたたきを食べましたが、藁焼きの風味の良さ、カツオ自体の質は明神丸が最も良かったと思います。 カツオ以外にも土佐ならではの海のもの、山のものがあり、お酒の種類も豊富です。 店員さんは学生アルバイトが多く、通路での私語が筒抜けなのは残念でした。
