Hotel Schmied von Kochel

On 22.09.2021 we ordered pig crustbats with herb salad and once cheese parrot. The cheese parrots tasted nothing. The piece of pork had no crispy crust and the herb salad was so upset and therefore unniceable. After complaint with the service, we were told that she was always wondering because the herb salad also went back with other guests. The payment was EUR 0.50.

Were there for dinner yesterday, my wife had a duck I had an onion roast. We were pissed. The meat did not dissolve from the bone, blue herb was not tasteless, dumplings, my flesh was pinker in the middle could only be cut with violence, chewing did not have any fun at all, the sauce had no taste like anything else. I told the waiter, no reaction. When paying, I said to the service, they could say to the cook if I hadn't been hungry, I wouldn't have eaten the stuff, I've never gone so badly out of a restaurant!!

On a bike tour my wife and I thought here was a surprisingly good lunch. the employees were professional, welcoming and efficient. the plentiful dishes we had were maybe a bit to lunch on a bike tour. my wife had the mixed fish...grill, which was apparently prepared from frozen garnishes and fishes. she is generally quite critical, but she thought that was very well prepared. I had the connection with late ones I thought was pretty good too. in any case our dishes were not the best grilled meeres or venison we have ever eaten. however they were certainly quite good, especially considering that the price is very moderate; the best we have ever enjoyed more expensive ingredients. I would like to eat again from this cook! it was pleasantly sitting outside but not ideal: car driving on the road in meters.

This region is beautiful to hike and this place offers very good regional cuisine for a good price. sometimes it is overcrowded and not enough staff in service.

On our trip from Austria to Munich we decided to make a way around quieter roads. we made a break in kochel am see, bayern. this place is a very old family hotel restaurant cafe. the prices on this place are very moderate,...service polite, allthough English not very well spoken, which is acceptable. old lady of the place served us well and quickly. also local foods are available here, place seems to be popular in the midday hours. we recommend you take a nice way away on the way, e.g. from innsbruck to Munich, and here to make a break.
