Mae Haad Cove Bungalows - Ko Pha-Ngan

The atmosphere and people at this restaurant are very relaxed. They easily accommodate vegan options and the dishes are delicious and inexpensive, especially the curry and Pad Thai. It's the best place in the area, with amazing marine views. I have been there several times and highly recommend it.

This small bungalow is located on the beach and from the large resort and restaurants. Just at the Mae Haad Bungalows and almost to the end of the beach next to a tattoo patch. The green Papaya salad was fantastic and the pad Thai super delicious! Also fantastic spring rolls. Everything was freshly prepared and the woman who took our order and made the food was charming and funny. She understood our request for no fish sauce and no egg. They offered tofu on the menu, although she had forgotten to insert it. The noodle soup was not as good as the other dishes. Pretty mild. They also have fried rice and friends noodles, but we will be back for Pad Thai tonight. The best I ever had, and we've been in Thailand for two weeks.

We were here for so cheap, also for Thai hotel standards. they gave us a bungalow directly on the beach, although we booked a garden view. if they do not disturb the rustic accommodations, this place is a hidden gem. they get a private beach at the end of a bay, the friendly and quietest host, and amazing eat. they are able to put vegans so easy. they do not even use fish sauce in their kitchen. we have spent 3 more nights because we loved it so much!
