Mcalister's Deli - Knoxville

Yay! Great food. Club very tasty. Potato salad was just right. Wife says cheese sauce on her potatoes is very delicious. $3.69 each for fountain drinks seems high but overall a good stop to eat. Edit: 2nd visit French Dip with potato soup Yummy! 3rd visit: Southwest salad (left me still hungry! 4th visit: French Dip with potato salad and $2.99 sweet tea. Ummmm good! Edit again: Ok, so now I know that French dip with potato soup is my favorite meal. Love it each time I go here. Edit4: had grilled chicken club. Tasty but not filling enough. $11.95 cost too high. My advice? Make sandwich bigger. Use a bun?

Everything I've ever gotten has been good. Service is excellent and fast.

I had a good lunch here on a Sunday and the portion sizes were very good. Much better than when I order via delivery from another location. There was a slight error on the food order, but they quickly resolved it and more than made up for it on a replacement portion. Turkey Creek is a busy place, but my wait was not too long and we received good follow up service at our table.

It had no atmosphere. The service was mediocre. The guy that took my order wasn't paying any attention to me but somebody else. Didn't give me an order number card. I went back up and he gave me a card number 22. I guess it wasn't really connected to anything. Brought me out a sandwich instead of a roast beef baked potato. Then it took forever to get the potato. The other people in my party we're done eating by the time I got my food. The au jus that I thought was coming with it was poured down the center of it. I couldn't taste it at all. I got it to go box and took the second-half home to my wife. It wasn't worth the trip from East Knoxville all the way out to Turkey Creek. There were five of us at the table. I left a $20 tip. The young lady that was cleaning up look like she could use it.

Good sandwiches and salads. The tomato and cucumber is very refreshing. Turkey and avocado sandwich is delicious.
