Green Forest Fish & Chips - Knox

A very quiet load on a Friday and Saturday night, so do they say something good the fish was so thin it was on the dry side, the chips where I would really say nice, we had two seafood sticks that, where limp. and just not beautiful. I saw her make a hamburger for a customer and I wish I had ordered it, it was so big and looked beautiful. I would buy fish and chips from them again, I don't know.

Have not eaten here. obviously different owners since the last time here. the one tablet from flock looked like it had been there for a long time. shop was not busy something about a care on a Friday night....has been too dirty to order food.

My wife and I had flake, chips and damped dimmeys 3 times in the last weeks. it was really good. the flakes were fried, found after taste and consistency, and the potato cakes were the same. dimmeys? spot to dampen. So, I've seen some negative reviews. I don't know why, they were good for us, we found the fish well. others must have had really bad nights or tripadvisor scares the owners to do it better? I don't know we're back. (no, I am not a member of the personal or a friend an honest review!

Flew to wash salon to wash and buy fish and chips while they wait. the fish was large and tasteful and the chips were perfect and gone to many to finish. great service and fast.

I have not been here for awhile because ownership changed and so did the food, especially the fish, which is now so think I can not begin to imagine how they could get it so thin....the oil they used is oily and not like it...used to be, however I phoned and complained to the new owners to let them know so they could make changes, left it for a few months and tried again nothing has changed, so I will now go to the other fish and chip shop in town which I have tried and the oil is fresh and not oil and the fish is fresh and a decent piece of fish!
