Waldhaus Knittelsheimer Mühle

The visit was rather disappointing, as the restaurant was not heated and despite our complaints during our two-hour stay no means could be created. We finally sat at the table with jackets. The highlight of the restaurant was the friendly service. The soup was unfortunately quite salty, the salad buffet offered an appealing selection. There was nothing to criticize at the main dish (crustious with dumplings). The ambience in the guest room rather “dusted”. The Da toilets were probably recently renovated and/or disinfected. I had the biting chemical smell for a few minutes as a taste arrest on my tongue. Conclusion: Next time in the beer garden. Too bad the busy arrival was not rewarded for closing the local passage in Bellheim! I gave only the 4-star overall rating because of the service and because the main dish was quite neat. There are many locals in the area where you at least as well as cheap dishes, so I would not recommend the restaurant below!

We were (for the third time) in this restaurant for nine at the New Year's Eve. Everything was absolutely wonderful, from food (multiple offer, highest quality of ingredients, preparation and presentation. The operation was also exceptionally good. We can recommend this restaurant without restriction.
