Bidrage med feedbackThe location is indeed interesting, with a discrete view, if you are lucky with the weather. The restaurant is cosy and unpretentious, in line with Austrian standards. We went for breakfast and I believe this is the best time to go there. The Frühustück “Am...Himmel” is quite vary and not little, with a good choice among salty and sweet dishes. On the less positive side: cappuccino was tasting like the one from the cheapest automatic coffee machine, while I find disrespectful to charge for of additional hot water for the tea.
I was with some friends at this restaurant and I don't have anything against animals, but raaaats in the restaurant... Is too much my friends...
Awful experience. Very unfriendly and rude staff. We arrived at 15:30, sat down and checked the menu. When the waiter came, he said with very bad manners that the kitchen was closed because they were understaffed. When asked whether we could order at least a cake, seeing that everyone around us were eating, he replied “kitchen closed, don’t you understand?”
The desserts are tragedy in the Cafe Oktogon dried out and old. We had no pleasure to eat it at all. Waiting for the waiter took a really long while, same as for the bill after, though there weren't many customers there and we were asking for the bill twice.
