GenussWirt am Pyramidenkogel

At the foot of the Pyramidekogel restaurant Genusswirt is located, luckily with outdoor tables. (It was glorious weather). We enjoyed a sit-down at an outdoor table with drinks and scanned the menu. This restaurant is a typical restaurant, connected with a highly frequented tourist attraction. It is convenient, but not a restaurant to make an effort to visit. Not good and not bad. Service of the staff was on the same level. Politely processing the tourists.

We were here in july and that time it was fantastic especially because of the waitress with the curly hair. we had 20 persons then and the location was completely full but she was so friendly and explained us the menu. it was a really good feeling to be waited by her. this time she was not there but a co-worker with long dark hair. she talked with us like we were idiots and very arrogant. also the bill had to be corrected because she was 20 euro too expensive.... we hope next time the other woman is there again....

Restaurant has a lovely terrace so we decided to have a drink and snack there. Staff is friendly but the service was very disappointing. Everything of what we ordered was brought separately by different waiter and they apparently forgot to bring us 'topfenstrudel'. It's a perfect location for a great restaurant and they should bring more effort to it.

During our visit we decided to have a bite to eat. The tables were a bit sticky, probably due to the high usage as it was busy. We shared a schnitzel and the meal was OK and a bit dry. The coffee was good and we had time to relax and take in the view. The toilets were around the other side and were clean and good smelling

Lovely food and great service. We had a spaghetti bolognese, margarita pizza and natura schnitzel. Couldn’t recommend it more.
