The menu of the gasthof offers a large selection of different foods. jauss, soups, hot dishes, salads and supplements, coffee specialities and desserts. pork, carvings, grill plates, nudel variations or fish are classics from the house falkenberg. at my visit to the gasthof falkenberg I chose a dish of healthy kitchen – a roasted trout with petersilkartoffeln and mixed salate. while I had to wait for my dish, I was served a refreshing elder juice. a perfect thirsty on hot summer days naturally made. After a relatiw short waiting time, I was also served the fried trout including fish cutlery. the fish tasted excellent and also the quality and freshness of the product were at the highest level. the grotto of the fish dissolved without much evolving and the meat was tender and very aromatic. I would have liked to have ordered a dessert, but I had a little under time pressure and the service was not the fastest this day. Nevertheless, the young girl in the service was very courteous and extremely sympathetic.
