Regional Public Beach Access Kitty Hawk

Great access point. Parking was easy, restrooms were clean, and showers were accessible. Seagulls were kind and courteous. They didn't even try to attack us, even once. Didn't have to give them any tostitos. This was perfect. Restaurants are close by in case you wanna grab a bite to eat.

Went there on a Monday in April. The water was still cold but the beach was not over crowded at all. Plenty of room to set up a spot. The few people that were on the beach were friendly. I didnt feel unwelcomed at all. Parking was convenient but small. I could see this being an issue during the busy season. Overall would go back.

This is one of my favorite beach rd. public access points. Right down the road from John's and a shower to wash the kids off when you get off the beach for the ride home!

Went to park around 3pm on a Thursday and had to wait for a few minutes but saw people were leaving so waited and got a spot! The bathrooms were decent and the showers and rinse off area was nice. The crosswalk to the beach was well kept and the beach entrance had nice mats in the sand for beach carts and it made it easier to walk
