Kings Family Restaurants - Kittanning

Food is always good. Usually their italian dressing is bomb, my favorite around, but lately its mostly oil when i get it, so it taste super oily, not so much like italian anymore. I would have to say this was like 98% oil and 2%vinegar whatever other ingredients. The color isnt even as pink/red like it used to bc of all the oil in it. My turkey club was missing the ranch mayo that is supposed to come on it. I also had to pay extra to get fries and cheese with it and never got cheese.

The Smothered Chicken was a little under-seasoned and tasted kinda bland, but overall it was okay.

The pot roast and mashed potatoes were decent, but the vegetables left something to be desired. Overall, I don't think the meal was worth the price. The vegetable soup is consistently good, but I've noticed that the prices at this restaurant are becoming quite steep, especially with fewer options and smaller portions.

The Steak Salad here is AMAZING. I've ordered it three times so far, and I've been incredibly happy every time. Everything looks and tastes fresh. The steak is cooked perfectly to your liking and seasoned just right. During COVID, I lost my go-to family restaurants, which pushed me to find a new favorite. I've tried steak salads at a few places that were okay but quite expensive and not very fulfilling. However, Kings served me a salad that completely exceeded my expectations, all at a great price. I highly recommend ordering from this restaurant!

The pot roast sandwich and mashed potatoes were excellent! Their broccoli cheese soup is my favorite!
