Wimpy’s Diner - Kitchener

I am a regular here. I absolutely love the spot, I even witnessed the owner give away free food to a young gentleman who didn’t have enough money. I highly recommend supporting this small business as the owner is humble, and has the best heart, as witnessed. Note sure his name but make sure you give a big hello! The food is absolutely incredible and it feels like a homemade cooked meal. Definitely try the fried chicken.

This location is fantastic. The food was delicious, and the poached eggs on the Southwestern Benidict were properly poached. Everything was cooked to perfection and presented perfectly. The 50's and 60's themed atmosphere adds so much to the experience.If you're looking for a good spot to eat breakfast or lunch, check out Wimpys Diner!!!

My wife and I have always gone to this Wimpys since 2016 when we met at College. It has fantastic food, great, friendly staff and a great Diner atmosphere.

If you are comfortable with an old fashioned 50's style diner, then Wimpy's is for you. Good food and good sized portions. Often when I visit Mom, this is the place we like to go. Little neighbourhood restaurants like this are a real gem.

We were a group of 10. They were unable to seat us altogether. We had to split up 6 and four, which wasn't very conducive for conversation with all 10. Prices are expensive for breakfast. The food was good, but nothing special. They had no 55+ seniors menu. Too much food for an older person. That's not why I said it was too expensive. $18+ for bacon and eggs with a coffee and toast (includes tax) is a bit much for a Diner. That's just my opinion.
