McDonald's - Kitchener

I visited McDonald's on Highland Road and tried to pay for my meal, but my debit card was not working. The staff member, who was delightfully pleasant and cheerful (even at 4:00 in the morning), kindly said, "Your meal is on us today." I was so grateful for her generosity and also impressed by her friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and understanding. I highly recommend this location because of the amazing staff. Thank you again!

I ordered a large Iced Coffee and it was served quickly and accurately, even though there were long lines. The staff prioritizes making drinks first, which is efficient even for a fast food restaurant. The caffeine boost helped me wait at the bus stop, where there were no seats, and book a rental car. Thank you, McDonald's Highland Road. Additionally, I have positive associations with the name Highland Road because of the good experiences I had at Highland Road Church where I used to work.

This is my favorite spot. I have been a loyal customer for over 30 years.

The lovely double drive thru (horrible idea) the right side speaker was not working, so the employee was taking all the order's on the Left side after 2 cars went ahead of us and still no answer through the speaker we just drove up to the window. When we got to the window to inform the employee that no one had taken our order and something might be wrong with that speaker, she apologized, took our order, and proceeded to not charge us for our drinks. Great employee service from Ocoee but terrible Drive-Thru service everywhere not just this McDonalds. Your damned if you go into the restaurant or go through the drive thru.
