Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - Kissimmee

We showed up very shortly before closing, but the staff were still very kind and didn't boot us out or rush us when closing time came. Very kind people! I enjoyed the fish tank in the lobby a lot too!

This was the worst restaurant experience in my entire life! It is impossible to fail anymore than this Kissimmee, Florida Cheddar 's. On our last night of our vacation on Saturday May 28th, we decided to try Cheddar 's for the first time. I heard from a friend this restaurant chain was good, so we decided to try it. At 7:44pm we joined the wait-list with my phone number. At 8:43pm we entered the restaurant, sat down, and ordered shortly afterwards. Our server brought the drinks (2 waters and 1 soda) and two small side salads right away. My friend and my wife ate the side salads. My friend drank his soda while we waited for our food. Over an hour went by. The server never returned during this period of time to do anything. My friends soda was long gone and he was wondering when he might be able to get a refill. After about 1 hour and 15 minutes, the server finally emerges. The server approached the table and asked if we were ready for our check... It was hard to hold back laughing at this question as we literally just wasted two hours between waiting to get in and waiting for our food. I told the server we have been waiting for over an hour now and we don 't even have our food yet. The server disappeared, and returned in about 5-10 minutes with 3/4 of the food we ordered, excluding my friends dish. I felt the food, it was not warm at all. The food looked like it was sitting around for a long time, most likely forgotten about in the kitchen. My wife 's steak looked really bad. I told the server our food was not warm and I was not happy about waiting such a long time for this. The server said he would go get the manager. My friend 's dish arrived, completing the whole order. The manager showed up and apologized for the miserable experience. I explained to the manager that we waited over an hour for the food and the server didn 't even know he never fulfilled our orders... Then asked if we were ready for the check. The manager claimed our food was dropped . I think it would be very rare for 4 dishes to get dropped all at once, requiring a redo. I believe our food was completed and just sat back in the kitchen getting cold while it was forgotten about. The manager said we can remain eating at the restaurant for free. I told the manager I just wanted to leave because this was an abysmal failure. The manager claimed it 's not usually like this. We left the restaurant shortly after the manager walked away. I left the food on the table to ensure it hopefully ended up in it 's rightful place, the trashcan. This restaurant experience could not get any worse. When we walked out, it was about 10:20pm. Our chance to eat a good meal on our last night of the vacation was ruined. I would never return to this restaurant and I would not recommend anyone patronize this restaurant.

The whole meal was trash. The chips got an A+ and so did our drink's. We barely ate our meals. Paid and left to grab some fast food. I'll never return to this location. Service sucked, food sucked even more as did the service. It was like pulling teeth for a busser to clean up our cups. But let's blame it on covid one employee said. Since they can't get good help.

Food was really good except the burger. It was cooked medium and was very dry! I waited 35 minutes for a table and the place was almost empty. While we sat at our table you see employees just walking around not doing much and a lobby full of people. The waitress serving our table only had maybe 3 tables. That was a joke! I won't be going back to that location again if that's the norm. That's the reason for the 3 stars.

Service was great, menu has lots of options from healthy to splurging! We enjoyed a steak which was perfectly grilled. The sides are fun, and we recommend the broccoli and cheese casserole. Your visit begins with honey buttered croissants, and you can order additional if you would like. The first ones are complimentary. Great selection of apps, sandwiches, salads, burgers, and entrees...steak, chicken, salmon, and pasta. Save room for dessert! Chocolate fudge sundae cake is awesome, but is definitely for 3 or 4 people to share. They have table kiosk to order additional items and to pay. We had no problem finding parking. Masks were not required for customers, but staff all wore them.
